Toavoidtheoccurrenceofaccidents,never
speciallytestthefunctionsofautomatic
emergencybrakingsystemandautomatic
emergencybrakingsystemforpedestrians.
Whentheswitchfortheautomaticemergencybraking
systemintheinfotainmentdisplayisON,thesystemwill
detectandmonitorthevehicleaheadinthesamelanewith
theforwarddetectionradarandfrontviewcamera.When
thesystemdetectsthatthereisariskofcollisionbetween
thevehicleandthevehicleahead,thebrakesystemwill
automaticallyintervenetodeceleratethevehicle,soasto
avoidcollisionaccidentsormitigatedamagefromcollision
accidents.Ifthevehicleisbrakedandstopped,itwill
remainstationaryforabout2s.Thenthecontrolofthe
vehiclewillbehandedovertothedriver.
Whentheswitchfortheautomaticemergencybraking
systemforpedestriansintheinfotainmentdisplayisON,
thesystemwilldetectandmonitorthepedestriansahead
inthesamelanewiththeforwarddetectionradarandfront
viewcamera.Whenthesystemdetectsthatthereisarisk
ofcollisionbetweenthevehicleandthepedestrianahead,
thebrakesystemwillautomaticallyintervenetodecelerate
thevehicle,soastoavoidcollisionaccidentsormitigate
damagefromcollisionaccidents.Ifthevehicleisbraked
andstopped,itwillkeepstationaryforapprox.2s,then
thecontrolofthevehiclewillbehandedovertothedriver.
Note:Whenthevehiclespeedisbetween2and52mph
(4and85km/h),stationarytargetscanbedetected.
Whenthevehiclespeedisbetween2and93mph(4and
150km/h),movingtargetscanbedetected.Whenthe
vehiclespeedisbetween2and39mph(4and64km/h),
pedestrianscanbedetected.
IMPORTANT
•Forstationarytargets,collisionscannotbe
completelyavoidedwhenthevehiclespeedis
greaterthan27mph(45km/h).
•Formovingtargets,collisionscannotbecompletely
avoidedwhentherelativespeedisgreaterthan
27mph(45km/h).
