Theindicatorlampilluminatesyellowwhen
theautomaticemergencybrakingsystemoremergency
brakingsystemforpedestriansisturnedoff.Ifthe
automaticemergencybrakingsystemoremergency
brakingsystemforpedestriansdetectsafaultorfailure,
theindicatorlampwillashyellowfor90s,andthen
remainon.
Theoperationoftheautomaticemergency
brakingsystemandautomaticemergency
brakingsystemforpedestriansmaybeimpaired
inthefollowingsituations:
•Thedetectionperformanceofforwarddetectionradar
orfrontviewcameraisaffected.
•Thecontourofthevehicleaheadisunclear,for
example:watersprayedbythewheelsofthefront
andsurroundingvehiclesinheavyrain/sprayorsnow
conditions.
•Whendrivingonspecialroadconditions,forexample,
onacurveoraslope,onthesectioncomingon/offthe
bridge,avehicleahead,anoncomingvehicle,avehicle
crossingtheintersection,avehiclemakingaturn,the
sideofavehicleoravehiclejumpingthequeuerapidly
inashortdistanceisdetected.
•Therearevehiclesrunningintheoppositedirectionin
thelane,orthevehicleitselfrunsinoppositedirection.
•Thevehicleaheaddoesnothaveorhasobscuredtail
lampswhendrivingatnightorinatunnel;thetaillamps
ofthevehicleaheadareallLEDstriplightsorother
homemadecolouredlamps;inconsistentorickering
streetlightswhendrivingatnight.
•Thevehicleaheadisanultra-largevehicleoratrailer,
whichistoobigtoberecognisedbythesystem(such
asatractor ,atrailer,atowingvehicle)
•Thevehicleaheaddoesnotfollowtherulesofdriving
andparking;thevehicleaheadisdrivingonthelanelines;
thevehicleaheadisnotinthesamelaneasyourvehicle
ortheviewofvehicleaheadispartiallyobscured.
