EMERGENCYINFORMA TION
EnsurethevehiclepowersystemisswitchedOFFand
switchoffALLelectricalequipmentofBOTHvehicles,then
followtheinstructions:
1ConnecttheREDboostercablebetweenthepositive
(+)terminalsofbothbatteries.ConnecttheBLACK
boostercablefromthenegative(-)terminalofthe
donorbattery(A)toagoodearthpoint(thePEB
mountingorotherunpaintedsurface,forexample),at
least0.5mfromthebatteryonthedisabledvehicle
(B).
2Startthedonorvehicleandallowittorunforafew
minutes.
3Nowswitchthevehiclepowersystemofthevehicle
withthedischargedbatterytoREAD Y .Ifthedisabled
vehiclewillnotswitchtoREADYitmayneedtobe
repaired.PleasecontactanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
4Afterboththevehicleshavenormally
started/powered,leavethevehiclesconnectedinthis
