handle(FigureA).
2Movethesafetycatchreleasehandleonthebonnet
lockassemblyinthedirectionofthearrow(FigureB)
toreleasethebonnetsafetycatch.
3Raisethebonnetandholditupwiththesupportrod
rmly.
ClosingtheBonnet
Supportthebonnetbyonehand,releasethesupportrod
usingtheotherhand,andplaceitrmlyintothesupport
rodbase.Thenholdthebonnetusingbothhandsand
lowerit,allowingittodropforthelast20cm～30cm
tofullyclosethebonnet.
Byattemptingtoliftthefrontedgeofthebonnet,checkif
thelockisfullyengagedafterclosingthebonnet.Ifitisnot
fullyengaged,youmustrepeattheoperation.
BonnetOpenWarning
Ifthebonnetisnotfullyengaged,whenthevehiclepower
systemisintheON/READ Yposition,thecorresponding
alarmicon(referto"WarningInformation"in"Instruments
andControls"chapter)willbedisplayedintheinformation
messagecentreoftheinstrumentpack.Ifitisdetectedthat
