Getting Started
Loading the Battery
Use two AA-sized Alkaline batteries (supplied), or two
AA-sized Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries as the
power source for the camera.
1. Ensure that the camera is
turned off; then push the
battery cover in the
direction of the arrow to
open it.
Attaching the Strap
1. Thread the strap through
the camera strap ring as
shown.
2. Thread the other end of
the strap through the
loop.
NOTE:
Take care when carrying the camera by the strap to prevent
the camera from banging onto other objects and to prevent
the strap from becoming tangled.
2. Load the batteries into the
compartment.
Ensure that the plus (+)
and minus () polarity of the
batteries matches the
polarity markings in the
battery compartment.
3. Hold the battery in place
and close the battery
cover securely.
