To
clean
grease
filter
The
grease
filter
absorbs
the
solids
suspended
in
the
cooking
fumes
(such
as
dust,
grease
etc.)
and
thus
prevents
the fan
motor
to
be
soiled.
The
hood
is
equipped
with
a
re-us-
able
metal
filter
which
can
be
cleaned
by
hand
or
dishwasher.

The
grease
filter
should
be
cleaned
periodically.
Within
normal
use
every
two
or
three
months
(no-
tice
discoloring
of
filter
and
reduc-
tion
of
suction
power).
WARNING!
Fatty
build-ups
in
the
filter
are
a
fire
hazard.
Pull
out
fume
deflector.

Slide
filter
locks
towards
center
(see
arrows).
Remove
grease
filters
and
clean,
By
hand:
Use
brush
to
clean
in
warm
water
with
dish
washing
detergent.
By
dishwasher:
Place
fitter
vertically
(upright).
in
lower
rack.
Before
replacing
filter
allaw
it
to
dry
completely.
When
filter
is
removed
clean
at
the
same
time
accessible
areas
of
cas-
ing,
to
prevent
a
fire.
