The gas connection must be made in
accordance with local codes or, in
the absence of local codes, with:
National Fuel Gas Code
ANSIZ223.1 / NFPA No. 54 for the
United States or the current Can /
CGAB149.1 and 2 Installation
Codes of Gas Appliances for
Canada.
The gas pressure may not
undershoot or exceed certain values.
Make sure that the maximum gas
pressure upstream of the gas
pressure controller does not amount
to more than 1/2psi (3.5kPA) for
natural and propane gas.
Make sure that the minimum gas
pressure amounts to a 6“ water head
in the case of natural gas and a
11” (279.4 mm) water head in the
case of propane gas.
