Remove existing hook/shackle
from rope loop.
Place rope loop in the cavity
of insert. Use insert marked “R”
when using synthetic rope, or “C”
when using steel cable.
Apply two drops of lubricant to
insert and spread evenly. Slip
rope loop and insert into shackle
mount cavity.
Align rope loop, shackle
eyelet, and shackle mount hole.
Thread shackle pin through rope
loop, shackle eyelet, and shackle
mount hole. Secure shackle as
per normal operation.
4.Secure the insert completely
within the cavity.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Allow approximately 20 minutes
for lubricant to dry before pulling
shackle mount tight against
fairlead.
*Shackle is not required to stow the
shackle mount.
