How to troubleshoot a Milton Roy Haskel AG Air Compressor drive that won't start with sufficient pressure?
- BBrenda LawsonAug 7, 2025
If your Milton Roy Air Compressor drive won't start or cycle despite having at least 25 psi drive pressure, the issue might stem from a blocked or inadequate air supply, a binding cycling valve spool, a pilot valve stem that's too short, an iced-up exhaust or vent, or plugged mufflers. To resolve this, first examine the air supply and regulator. If the cycling valve spool is the problem, clean it according to the disassembly instructions. Replace the pilot valve if it's defective. If there's excessive moisture in the drive air, install a better moisture reduction system. Finally, remove, disassemble, and clean the mufflers.
