5.4 Mounting the X Cutter
• Do not touch the X cutter when the clamp lever of the XY slitter is raised. Otherwise, you may
get injured by the moving XY carriage.

• The printed guide line is fed to the slitter.

Lower the clamp lever of the XY slitter.
Up the clamp lever of XY Slitter
• The XY carriage can be moved by hand when the XY slitter clamp lever is lowered.

Move the clamps of the XY slitter.
• Position the clamps on both edges and the center of the media.
• Align the clamps with the mark (square hole) positions.
