Press the [END] key several times to end the operation.
• Up to 10 nozzles can be registered for each nozzle line.
• Time required for printing does not change even if you use this function.
• The nozzle recovery function is invalid for the lowest number of paths in the printing conditions.
• Even if you register nozzle recovery, the pattern of test print and the likes is not recovered.
• When using white ink, print on clear film to check.
Check if the registered nozzle is recovered
You can check if the registered nozzle has been successfully recovered.
With the following settings "ON" you can print a test pattern using the recovered nozzle when running a test
print "Test printing" (P. 2-11).

Select [NOZZLE RECOVERY] of the MAINTENANCE menu.
(1) Press the [FUNCTION] key in LOCAL.
(2) Press to select [MAINTENANCE], and press the [ENTER] key.
(3) Press to select [NOZZLE RECOVERY].
(4) Press the [ENTER] key.

• If you wish to run a test print with the recovered nozzle registered in nozzle recovery, select "ON" in Step 3
of "Test printing" (P. 2-11).
Before starting the printing operation, check whether there is a nozzle that cannot
be recovered
Depending on the printing conditions that have been set, there are times when nozzle cannot be recovered
even if [NOZZLE RECOVERY] is registered.
With this setting, you can check if the nozzle is recoverable before printing, and select the applicable
operation for non-recoverable nozzle.
