Loosen the screws (x2) of the Y-SP plate
on the left side panel, and release the
tension from the Y drive belt.

At the belt connection points, remove
the left and right side belt holder 1 from
the belt holders.

Remove the belt holder 1 screws.

Pry open the belt holder 1 with a slotted
screwdriver or similar, then slide to
detach from the belt.

Use rubber tape or similar to stick
together the ends of the old belt and the
new belt, and perform one revolution of
the belt.

Once the belt has made one revolution, remove the joining tape and pass the belt through the rear
side of the slider.
