To change the ink color
To change the ink color, perform the procedures below:

“Discharge” the remaining ink in the machine, and “Wash” the head or the tube.
• See P.4-17 “DISCHARGE & WASH”.

Fill ink.
• See P.4-19 “Supplying the Machine with Ink Anew”.
When you change the items below, the work by the service person is required. Contact a
distributor in your district or our office to call for service.
• When you change the ink set from “four-color model” to “six-color model” etc.
• When washing, use eight special cleaning solution cartridges (sold separately).
Wash with the proper cleaning solution cartridge for the used ink type.
