Servotronic
Servotronic is a speed-dependent power
steering system.
The system provides more steering force as-
sistance at lower speeds than at higher
speeds. This makes it easier to park, for ex-
ample, and provides a more direct steering
feel when driving at higher speeds.
In addition, the steering force is adapted ac-
cording to the drive programme, so that a
direct, sporty feel or a comfortable steering
response is conveyed.
