To adjust the steering wheel
In four directions
1. Switch on the ignition.
2. Fold the lever downwards.
3. Move the steering wheel to the prefer-
red height and angle to suit your seated
position.
4. Swing the lever back up.
5. Switch off the ignition again if neces-
sary.
Memory function
Principle
The memory function enables the following
settings to be stored and retrieved when re-
quired:
– Seat position.
– Exterior mirror position.
Saving
1. Switch on the ignition.
2. Set the desired position.
3.
Press the button. The LED in
button is illuminated.
4. Press the desired button 1 or 2 on the
seat while the LED is illuminated. The
LED is extinguished.
Recalling
The saved position is called up automati-
cally.
Press the desired button 1 or 2.
The operation is halted when you press a
seat adjustment switch or one of the mem-
ory buttons.
Adjusting the seat position on the driver's
side is interrupted after a short time during
the journey.
