PROBLEM CHECKLIST SOLUTION

6. CARE AND CLEANING
· To ensure the accuracy of the measurements, the distance (D) and infrared
(E) sensors must be clean and free of marks. Fingerprints or other dirt may
affect the accuracy of the measurements.
· Clean both sensors with a cotton swab slightly moistened with alcohol
and dry them immediately with a cotton swab. To clean the thermometer
casing, use a soft dry cloth.
· Never clean the thermometer with abrasive cleaning products, solvents
or benzene or immerse it in water or other liquids.
· After cleaning, store it in a clean and dry place at room temperature. Never
expose it to extreme temperatures and humidity or direct sunlight.
6.1. CALIBRATION
The thermometer is calibrated during its manufacturing process. If the
thermometer is used following the instructions provided in the manual,
periodic re-calibration is not necessary. If at any time you have doubts about
