FLASH OPERATION
For flash synchronization with the Motor
Drive 1, Minolta makes two dedicated flash
units: the Auto Electroflash 320X and 200X.
As the touch switch/operating buttons of the
Motor Drive 1 are identical in type and
function to the camera's, the dedicated-flash
functions (automatic X-sync. setting and
flash-ready signal in the viewfinder) of these
two accessory units will still operate.
Flash-per-second rates and operation details are
as follows:
With Auto Electroflash 320X
When the 320X is used with Ni-Cd batteries,
the motor drive can be set at "Lo" for
successive flash operation of 2 frames-
per-second. Using the 320X and its
accessory Power Grip 1 allows using the "Hi"
setting for up to 3.5 frames-per-second. The

Hat der Motor-Drive am Filmende abge-
schaltet, darf der Hauptschalter nicht mehrmals
zwischen OFF und den anderen Einstellungen
(„S", „Lo" Oder „Hi") hin und her gedreht
werden, da sonst der Film beschadigt warden
konnte.
BLITZBETRIEB
Fiir die Synchronisation von Blitzlicht mit
dem Motor-Dauerlauf eignen sich speziell die
Minolta-Blitzgerate Auto-Electroflash 320X
und 200X. Da die „touch-switch"-Ausl6ser am
Motor-Drive 1 funktionsgleich mit dem
Kamera-Ausloser sind, sieht man auch wie
gewohnt das Blitzbereltschaftssignal im Sucher
(blinkende LED) und die Kamera schaltet sich
bei BI itzbereitschaft automatisch auf
X-Synchronisation um. Nachstehend Ein-
zelheiten iiber den Blitzbetrieb.
