3.6 Installation for MS-DOS
Only MS-DOS versions 5.0 or higher (except MS-DOS 7.0) are supported.

Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer locally or via
a network.

Switch on the printer.

Switch on the computer and start MS-DOS.

Place the PagePro 1100 printer driver CD in the CD-ROM drive of your
computer.

Change to the CD-ROM drive.
Enter, for example:
d:\
(
d
= corresponding letter of your CD-ROM drive)

Change to the directory which contains the installations program.
Enter:
cd drivers\pp1100\dos

Start the installation program.
Enter:
setup
This starts the installation program. Once the printer driver has been
successfully installed, the following message appears:
AUTOEXEC.BAT file modified!
One command line was added to the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. The
purpose of this command is to ensure that the Status Monitor is
automatically loaded upon switching on the computer or executing the
AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
