There
are
two
ways
to
do
this:
First
set
the
shutter
speed
selector
at
the
desired
click-stop,
then
turn
the
aperture
ring
until
no
LEDs
light
up
other
than
the
LED
blinking
next
to
the
selected
speed.
First
set
the
aperture
as
desired,
then
turn
the
shutter-speed
selec¬
tor
so
that
the
blinking
LED
matches
up
with
the
glowing
LED.

two
LEDs
are
glowing,
adjust
the
aperture
ring
slightly
so
only
one
glows.
Do
not
set
the
shutter
speed
between
click-stops.
Long
exposure
at
"8"
setting
When
the
mode/shutter-speed
se¬
lector
is
set
at
"B",
the
shutter
will
open
when
you
press
the
shutter-
release
button
and
remain
open
until
you
release
the
button.
This
makes
exposure
longer
than
one
second
possible.
A
tripod
or
other
firm
support
should
generally
be
used.
The
eyepiece
cap
ip.
22)
should
be
used
to
prevent
stray
light
from
affecting
the
exposure.
NOTE
The
self-timer
does
not
operate
at
the
"B"
setting.

With
fresh
batteries
at
moderate
temperatures,
the
maximum
long
exposure
is
approx.
10
hours.
At
lower
temperatures,
exposure
time
may
be
shorter.
