Overview
The rear panel connections are broadly arranged in 2 rows;
Top row:
• 4 BNC serial digital video outputs
• 8 BNC serial digital video inputs
• 1 BNC Analogue reference inputs
• 2 RJ45 Ethernet Network connectors (LAN 1-2)
And on bottom row:
• 1 AES Audio connector
• 4 serial communication ports (COM1 - COM4)
• 4 RS485 Metadata inputs/outputs
• 1 GPIO/LTC connector (“GPIO/LTC”)
• 2 Mains Inlets
Serial Digital Video Inputs / Outputs
Serial digital I/O (referred to below as SDI) is to SMPTE 292M-1998 (HD)
and SMPTE 259M-1997 (SD)
The video standards supported are:
• HD 1080i50, 720p50, 1080i59.94, 720p59.94
• SD 625i50, 525i59.94
Each input / output is via a 75Ω BNC connector.
