Configurator
Within the Configurator tool, the user can set up the following:
• Draw the audio configuration
• Connect up audio inputs to various blocks
o AB mix blocks
o Voice-over blocks
o Dolby modules
o Up-Mix modules
o Delays
• Define where audio outputs are derived from
• Draw Dolby Metadata configurations
• Define Dolby Metadata user-defined presets
When in “Configuration Mode”, parameters for the following system settings
may also be set up in addition to the Route Manager:
• Video standard
• Audio settings
• Video settings
• DVE
• Devices
• Miscellaneous
• Stores memory allocation
• View licences
Since these settings are not covered within this manual, please see the
separate Configurator User Manual for full details.
The Configurator tool also provides a “Metadata Mode” which is covered in
the next section.
