Connecting Up-Mix Modules
The following diagram shows how an Up-Mix module might be inserted
within the Route Manager tool. In this example, the inputs may be in stereo
or 5.1 surround.
Connecting Metadata to Up-Mix Modules
Next we need a way to control the Up-Mix module dependent on whether the
input is stereo or 5.1 surround. This is so the module can know whether to
up-mix the input, or pass it straight through.
To do this we set the Up-Mix module into From Metadata mode, and then
use the first RS485 port to control whether up-mix is enabled or disabled.
