The
battery
chamber
cover
can be opened
by
turning it
counterclockwise
with
a
coin.

Load
the batteries
correctly according
to
the
indication
of
the
polarities
in the
battery
chamber.
(lf
the batteries
are
loaded incorrectly
with the reverse
polarities,
the
LED in
the
viewfinder
does
not
light.)
3. Turn the battery chamber cover
clockwise
tightly.
Keep
the battery
surfaces
f
ree
of dirt
and
perspira-
tion, when
loading.
Dirt will
cause
poor
electrical
contact.
lf necessary,
wipe
the
batteries with a
clean,
dry cloth.
Unload the batteries when the
camera
is not
used
f
or a
long
period.
The
batteries should
last f
or approximately
one
year
under normal
use.
When the
camera
has been
used
over
one
year,
we
suggest
that
you
replace
the
old
batteries
with
new
ones.
