Turning the Unit On
Press and hold the ON/OFF key until the
display appears, then release the key.
• The unit will display the numbers 0, 1,
2, 3, 4, in sequence.
• The Rate Mode display should appear,
with the word RATE shown at the top
left of the screen (Figure 2).

• If 8 or a blinking BAT indicator appear
in the display or if the display is blank,
