7. MEMORY CARD AND BATTERY
7.6 Installing Batteries (CPU Module and Memory Card Batteries)
(1) Since the CPU module battery is shipped with its battery connector disconnected,
connect the connector according to the procedure indicated below.
(2) The battery for the SRAM card is shipped separately from the battery holder. To use
the SRAM memory, set the battery holder according to the procedure below.

Firmly push the connector all the way.

Check the orientation of the connector
attached to the housing and insert it
into the connector pin of the battery.
Check if the battery is properly
inserted.
Open the cover at the bottom of the
CPU module.

Set the battery holder's locking
switch to the "RELEASE" position.
Insert the battery into the battery
holder with the "+" face up.
Insert the battery holder with which
the battery is installed firmly, into the
SRAM card.
Check that the battery holder fixing
switch is set to the "LOCK" position.
* The battery holder fixing switch is set automatically to
the "LOCK" position when the battery holder is
removed. In its position, insert the battery holder firmly.
Remove the battery holder from the
SRAM card.
