5.2 System to Which Multiple Safety CPUs are Connected
Safety communication settings
Set items related to safety communication function
Operating procedure
1. Set "Setting of Safety Communication Use or Not" to "Use" from "Application Settings" window and select detailed
setting on "Safety Communication Setting".
2. Selecting own network as the party to communicate with in the "Safety Communication Setting" window displays "Select
the target module for the Safety Communication Setting" window shown below. Then, select the target safety remote I/O
module and import parameters using the [Add] button. (If target module is not displayed, set appropriate setting at
Network Configuration Settings, including slave station parameter setting. Then, click the [Apply] button displayed in the
lower right of the "Basic Settings" window).
3. Select and input parameters as shown below.
4. Exit by clicking the [OK] button on "Safety Communication Setting" window.
