4.9 File Transmission Via FTP Server
The parameters and project files in the Motion CPU can be viewed via a module (such as RJ71EN71) that can access other
CPUs using the FTP server function. The following operations are possible when using the file transmission via FTP server.
When combined with the digital oscilloscope function (CSV format) online, preventive maintenance data such as servo
motor temperatures and lifetimes can be obtained periodically, or at error occurrences, and analyzed on an FTP client or
personal computer.
Files such as project files, parameters, and cam data can be read to a remote device, or written from a remote device via
FTP. (Each file can be output with "Read from memory card" and "Write to memory card" in MT Developer2.)
Large amounts of data files stored in the central server can be read or written via FTP.
