Errors detected by sensing module
Errors at station mode
When an error occurs in the sensing module, alarm of the status device, or warning signal turns ON, and the error code is
stored in the error code of the monitor device. Sensing module errors are treated as servo errors with minor error (error code:
1C80H), or warning (error code: 0C80H) being stored in "Latest self-diagnosis error (SD0)". The error codes read from the
sensing module can be checked with the Motion error history in the MT Developer2 Motion CPU error batch monitor. If errors
are cancelled by turning ON alarm reset of the command device, or resetting the control circuit power supply of the sensing
module, the alarm or warning signals turn OFF, and the error code is cleared.
Refer to the following for details of errors.
Sensing Module Instruction Manual
When an error occurs in the sensing SSCNET/H head module, the alarm of the status device or warning
signal turns ON at the first station in a block, and the error code is stored in the error code of the monitor
device.
When an error occurs in the sensing extension modules, the alarm of the status device or warning signal
turns ON at the target station only, and the error code is stored in the error code of the monitor device.
Errors at axis mode
When an error occurs in the sensing pulse I/O module, "[St.1068] Servo error detection (R: M32408+32n/Q: M2408+20n)"
turns ON, and minor error (error code: 1C80H), or warning (error code: 0C80H) is stored in "[Md.1005] Servo error code (R:
D32008+48n/Q: D8+20n)". The error codes or warning codes read from the sensing pulse I/O module are stored in
"[Md.1019] Servo amplifier display servo error code (R: D32028+48n/Q: #8008+20n)". Remove the error cause, and turn ON
"[Rq.1148] Servo error reset command (R: M34488+32n/Q: M3208+20n)" to reset the error.
Refer to the following for details of errors.
Sensing Module Instruction Manual
Precautions when using sensing module
Precautions when using the sensing module in station mode are shown below.
Disconnect/reconnect function cannot be used for the sensing module. When disconnect/reconnect is executed, it is
ignored.
The Motion SFC program RTO instruction and RFROM instruction cannot be used for the sensing module. When a RTO
instruction or RFROM instruction is executed for a RIO axis of the sensing module, a minor error (SFC) (error code: 397CH,
397DH) occurs.
