4.4 Device Function
(1) Device function
Creates a device such as a programmable controller CPU in work RAM on the C
Controller module.
Device function cannot be used for the following C Controller modules.
• Q12DCCPU-V with a serial number whose first five digits are "12041" or earlier

The following shows devices that can be created.
(3) Settings for using device functions
Device settings require to set in the <<Device settings>> tab of the C Controller
setting utility to use device functions.
For the C Controller setting utility, refer to the following.
C Controller Module User's Manual (Utility Operation, Programming)
When setting the number of device points, set it in units of 16 points.
