(4) Precautions
(a) Number of device points
Set only the required number of device points.
Because a device is created in work RAM, the available range of work RAM, such
as in a user program, decreases due to an extra setting.
The consumption of work RAM is calculated by the following formulas.
• Internal relay (M)
16 points is calculated as one word.
• Data register (D)
1 point is calculated as one word.
(b) The intelligent function module dedicated instructions and link dedicated
instructions
The following intelligent function module dedicated instructions and link dedicated
instructions cannot access to device of the C Controller module.
• JP/GP.READ
• JP/GP.SREAD
• JP/GP.WRITE
• JP/GP.SWRITE
(Consumption of work RAM in the internal relay (M)) = (Number of points assigned to the internal relay (M))/16 [word]
(Consumption of work RAM in the data register (D)) = (Number of points assigned to the data register (D)) [word]
