PREPARATORY PROCEDURES AND SETTING
[Communication details]
1) When a ping addressed to CH2 is executed, a ping request reaches CH2.
2) The C Controller module attempts to send a ping response from CH1 whose
network address (192.168.3.0) is the same as that of the personal computer.
However, because CH1 is not connected to the network, the ping response will
not be sent to the personal computer.
[Corrective action]
When the same network address is set to the personal computer and either of the
channels (CH1 in the example), take either of the following collective actions.
• Connect the channel of the same network address as the personal computer
to the network so that a ping response will be sent to the personal computer.
• Change the target setting of the personal computer to the channel that has
the same network address as the personal computer so that a ping response
will be sent to the personal computer.
(b) Flashing "01" or "02" of the 7-segment LED (Q12DCCPU-V only)
At start-up of the C Controller module, "01" or "02" flashes on the 7-segment LED
when the C Controller module is:
• In factory-default state.
(The standard RAM is not initialized.)
• Left unused for a long period of time with no battery installed.
(The standard and battery-backed-up RAM data are corrupted.)
If "01" or "02" flashes on the 7-segment LED, install a battery and perform the
module initialization setting procedure.
