PREPARATORY PROCEDURES AND SETTING
(b) When inserting a CompactFlash card while power is on
1) Insert a CompactFlash card.
2) Check that the CompactFlash card is mounted (the CF CARD LED turns on).
When the CF CARD LED turns on, file access to the CompactFlash card is
available.
To confirm the mount status in the user program, check the "CF CARD LED
status" or "CF CARD status" of the QBF_ReadStatusEx function.
*1
To confirm the mount status in C Controller setting utility, check the "CF CARD"
in the "LED information" area in the <<Module information>> tab.
3) Open a file in the CompactFlash card (by using a function such as the open or
fopen function) to start file access.
* 1 When the CompactFlash card is inserted while power is on, the card is automatically mounted.
To access a file again without removing the unmounted CompactFlash card, the card must be
manually mounted. In this case, call the QBF_MountCfCard function in a program.
Remark
For bus interface functions and a sample program for access stop, refer to the
following.
C Controller Module User's Manual (Utility Operation, Programming)
IMPORTANT
Before the following operation, touch a grounded metal object to discharge the static
electricity from the human body.
Failure to do so may cause failure of the module or malfunction.
Insert a CompactFlash card according to the above procedure. Failure to do so can
cause a corruption of the CompactFlash card data or a file system error.
