(5) The number of files and directories
Up to 256 files and directories in total can be created in the root directory of the
following C Controller module memories.
• Standard RAM
• Standard ROM
• CompactFlash card
Note that the maximum number of them may be decreased depending on the file
name length.
The number of files in the sub directory must be 500 or less.
Storing more than 500 files may significantly increase the file access time.
(6) Precautions for the storage location of user file
Do not store user files in the following directories of the C Controller module. Doing so
can cause the loss of user files since the following folders are used as storage
locations for parameter files.
(7) Creating a directory
Do not create a directory in the root "/" of the C Controller module.
Such directory creation processing fails or an unintended directory may be created.
(These errors occur also when transferring a directory to the root "/" through FTP.)
