MULTIPLE CPU SYSTEM OVERVIEW
(2) Controlling I/O modules and intelligent function modules
In a multiple CPU system, it is necessary to specify which CPU module controls which
I/O module or intelligent function module (control CPU setting).
* 1 Indicates the grouping configuration on C Controller setting utility.
"No.1" entered for a CPU module represents "CPU No.1", and the "No.1" entered for an I/O module
or intelligent function module indicates that the control CPU of the module is CPU No.1.
The CPU module that controls each I/O module or intelligent function module is called
"control CPU".
An I/O module or intelligent function module controlled by a control CPU is called
"controlled module".
A module that are controlled by another CPU, not by the control CPU, is called "non-
controlled module".
