12.2 Troubleshooting Procedure
(a) Checking for error in modules other than the master/local module
1. Select a module other than the master/local module
in the "System Monitor" window, and click the
button.
The window corresponding to the module will open.
(In the illustration on the left, the CPU module is
selected.)
If the button is not supported by the
module, click the button.
When data link cannot be performed even though no
failure is shown in "System Monitor", select the master/
local module and click the button.
2. CPU resets and errors occurred before power-off
are recorded in the "Error History" window.

In the single "Error History" window, the error history of
CPU modules and intelligent function modules
(including master/local modules) can be viewed.
3. If data link cannot be performed even after the
above operation is performed, perform the
following:
• Checking for error using CC-Link IE Field Network
diagnostics ( Page 206, CHAPTER 9)
• Checking the LEDs ( Page 430, Section 12.3)
• Troubleshooting by symptom (Page 434, Section 12.4)
