3.4 External input/output
3.4.1 Types
(1) Dedicated input/output..................... These inputs and outputs carry out the robot remote operation and
status display.
(2) General-purpose input/output .......... These are inputs and outputs that the customer can program for
peripheral device control.
(3) Hand input/output ............................ These are inputs and outputs related to the hand that the customer
can program.
(4) Emergency stop/Door switch input .. The wiring for the safe security of the emergency stop etc. is shown
in on Page 42, "3.6 Emergency stop input and output etc." and on
Page 100, "6.1.7 Examples of safety measures".

Linking our GOT2000 Series display equipment to the robot controller over the Ethernet permits you to
control robot controller's input/output from a GOT (graphic operation terminal).
