  Touching the hoist or pushbutton pendant can cause an electric shock due to several reasons: * Failure in grounding of the I-beam or pushbutton pendant metallic casing. * Adhesion of paint to the I-beam surface. * Hoist or pushbutton pendant insulation failure. * Current leaking from other equipment or wiring reaching the hoist through the I-beam. * High floor conductivity.
