Installation of the cooling fan, fan pulley and V-belt

Installing the cooling fan
(1) Install the pulley onto the water pump.
(2) Install the cooling fan onto the water pump
pulley, and tighten the retaining bolts.
(3) Loosen the alternator adjusting bolt. Attach the
V-belt over the water pump pulley, alternator
pulley, and crankshaft pulley.
(4) Correctly tension the V-belt by moving the
alternator and tightening the adjusting bolt.
(5) Check the V-belt tension.
