Inspecting the inlet cover and exhaust manifold
1.2 Measuring the exhaust manifold
mounting face distortion
Using a straight edge across the exhaust manifold
mounting face and a thickness gauge, measure
any distortion.
If the measured distortion exceeds the limit,
correct by grinding or replace the manifold.
