2.11 Inspecting the cam-to-tappet contact
Inspect the tappet contact face with the cam. If
abnormally worn, replace the tappet.
2.12 Measuring the clearance between the
tappet and the tappet guide
Measure the tappet diameter. Measure the tappet
guide bore in the cylinder block. If the difference
between them exceeds the limit, replace the
tappet.
