A: The tire repair kit is stored under the rear seat cushion. To access the tire repair kit, pull forward the seat stoppers under the rear seat
cushion. Lift up the seat cushion and pull it forward. Next remove the wing nuts, remove the cover and lift out the tire repair kit. Once
you have accessed the tire repair kit, refer to the Mitsubishi i Owner’s Manual for instructions.
Warning – do not use the tire sealant repair kit if any of these situations occur:
• More than one tire is punctured
• The puncture hole has a length or width of
1
⁄7th of an inch (4mm) or greater
• The tire is punctured in the sidewall, the side of the tire, not in the tread
• The vehicle has been driven with the tire almost completely flat
• The tire has completely slipped over the wheel rim and come off the wheel
• The wheel is damaged
• A bump, cut or crack is on the tire
• The tire sealant’s expiration date has passed
• The outside temperature is below -22° F or above 140° F

Q: What sound am I hearing under my Mitsubishi i?
A: The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) performs a self check each time the Mitsubishi i is started. You may be hearing the activation of
the Electric Brake Vacuum Pump. You may also be hearing the AVAS which makes a sound between 2 and 22 miles per hour. All of
these sounds are perfectly normal and do not signal any malfunctions of the system.
