Tractor Pre-Operation Inspection/Service
Refer to the tractor operator’s manual to ensure a
complete pre-operation inspection and scheduled
service is performed according to the manufacturers
recommendations. The following are some of the

To ensure the cutter is ready for operation, conduct the following.
All Safety Shields, Guards and Safety devices including (but not limited to) - the

condition. All safety devices should be inspected carefully at least daily for

HARDFACING ON BLADES SINCE THIS WILL LIKELY CRACK OR OTHERWISE DAMAGE THE BLADE WITH
SUBSEQUENT FAILURE AND POSSIBLE SERIOUS INJURY FROM THROWN BLADES. (SGM-10) New blade
bolts must be used when blades are removed.
