1.3.8. Charging the battery
For safety in battery transportation, the battery will be drained out partially. To ensure full battery pack capacity, completely charge
the battery pack before using the first time.
To activate your battery to full capacity it must be charged to 100% and fully discharged 3 to 4 times.
There are two ways of charging the Modmo Battery
On the charger, Red Light indicates “Charging”, Green Light
indicates “Fully Charged”. You can also monitor the charging
process on the Handle Bar Screen & Modmo app on your
smartphone in Point 2.5.

Step 1. Loosen the
MOD-Lever on the
front modular mount
Step 2. Remove the
charging cap using
the magnetic head.
Step 3. Insert the
charger to the
connector firmly.
A. On the Front Mount:

charger to the
connector firmly
B. Charge the battery directly:
Attention: Only use the Modmo charger provided with your Modmo
E-bike. Only this charger is matched to the lithium-ion battery packed
used in Modmo E-bike
