After you have confirmed by clicking on “OK” a
monochrome rectangle will be inserted in the display
field as a placeholder for the bargraph. The color of
the bargraph can be changed with the Color Palette
icon.
Now enclose the bargraph in a border:
왘 With the mouse pointer, open a field around the
bargraph which is one cursor width larger than
the bargraph.
왘 Select a single border under ‹ Edit
➞
Rectangles
& Symbols› .
A border will be shown around the bargraph.
왘 Save your project.
Transferring the project
to the MI4
To transfer data to the MI4 you will need to
set up a data link between the PC and the MI4
set the communications parameters
change to configuration mode on the MI4.
Use the ZB4-24A-KP1 configuration cable to set up
the connection between the MI4 and the serial port
of your PC.
Check the settings of the communications
parameters.
왘 Select ‹ Options
➞
Communication› and set a
transmission rate of 38400 baud.
왘 Switch the MI4 to configuration mode. Hold down
the MI4’s Enter key for about three seconds to do
this.
왘 Use the cursor keys to select the menu point
CONFIG and then briefly press the Enter key.
