A maximum of 255 message texts can be assigned
to a byte. In this example 16 message texts are
defined.
왘 Confirm your entries with OK.
The display field will now display the placeholder
“MM...” for message texts.
왘 Save the project and transfer it to the MI4.
Testing the expanded

왘 Put the PLC into RUN mode.
Page 1 will appear in the display of the MI4. With the
“Page 2” touch cell you can switch to page 2. With
the corresponding touch cell on page 2 you can
switch back to page 1.
On page 2 swich to the PLC Output Q 1.0 using the
illuminated pushbutton (Motor 1). In state 0 the touch
zone is displayed in green and in state 1 it is
displayed in red (according to the color selection
carried out in the MI4 Configurator).
You can call up binary coded message texts via
switches I 0.0 to I 0.3. There are 15 defined message
texts in your project. If the number of texts is greater
