Resolution: Use the BioMed SETUP menu Date and Time option to set the date and
time.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** THERAPY TIME INVALID
Alert: Invalid therapy time calculated.
Cause: While programming or modifying an Intermittent therapy, the combination
of dose duration and dose frequency result in a prescription with a duration
greater than 288:00 HH:MM.
Resolution: Recheck data entry. The changes to the field must comply with the total time
limit.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** TIME LESS THAN RAMP TIME
Alert: Unable to enter a TPN therapy time that is less than the ramp times.
Cause: Time value entered for TPN infusion is less than ramp times.
Resolution: Recheck data entry. TPN infusion time cannot be less than specified ramp
times.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** VALUE PREVENTS A SUBSEQUENT DOSE
Alert: Value entered will prevent the ability to program any more doses.
Cause: The value entered for the “Variable Dose Amt” or “Time” field will cause no
remaining amount or time for a subsequent.
Resolution: Recheck data entry.
If this is a new program, reprogramming of the therapy will be required if the
error is in a previously programmed dose.
If the therapy is in progress or this is a repeat program that has not started
and the error is in a previously programmed dose, turn the pump off and
then on. Choosing to resume or repeat the therapy will display the last
prescription that was completely programmed.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** EMPTY LIBRARY
Alert: Empty Library
Cause: Occurs when “LIBRARY” is selected and no library is present.
Resolution: Load a Library or program the pump using the “PROGRAM” option.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** PUMP DISABLED CALL PROVIDER
Alert: The pump is disabled
Cause: The pump calibration data is invalid.
Resolution: The pump needs to be returned for service.
LCD Display: ***ALERT*** DOOR OPEN or SET NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED
Alert: Door is opened or administration set is not properly installed while the pump
is running
