Unfolding the ScuttleBug

ScuttleBug Packaged Position

The ScuttleBug is packaged in the folded position.

Unfolding Rear Wheels

Unfold the rear wheel by pulling rear sleeve towards the wheel to release it from the locked position. Repeat for the other rear wheel.

Unfolding Front Wheel

Hold the front wheel and pull out to release from the plastic clasp. Pull forward until it locks into place.

Ready to Ride

Place the ScuttleBug on its wheels and it is ready to ride.

Folding the ScuttleBug

Prepare for Folding

Place the ScuttleBug on the floor as indicated.

Unlock Front Wheel Stem

Locate the circular lever, pull back to unlock and release the front wheel stem.

Fold Front Wheel Strut

Fold the front wheel strut down into the underbody. Pull the wheel to extend and slot into the clasp.

Folding Rear Wheels

Press the spring loaded button to release the rear wheel. Slide the sleeve outwards and fold inwards until rear leg locks. Repeat for other wheel.

Ready for Storage

The ScuttleBug is now ready for storage.

General Warnings

Not for children over 36 months or over 20kg. Adult supervision and safety equipment recommended.

Usage Precautions

Use in controlled environments, hold handlebars, no more than one child, avoid hazards, no brakes.

One Year Limited Warranty

Warrants against defective materials/workmanship for one year from purchase. Original receipt required.

Warranty Limitations
