DRIVING TECHNIQUE
Starting the engine
Before starting the engine, check if there is enough fuel in the vehicle
and oil.
Starting the engine with an electric starter
• Turn the key to position and check that the dipped beam and turn signals are working.
• Check if the motorcycle is idling. If it is idling,
the engine will start immediately after pressing the starter. If the motorcycle is in a
non-idle gear, turning on the starter will not start the engine.
• If the motorcycle is not idling, press the clutch lever and then turn on the starter.
Tip: the electric starter should not work for more than 5 seconds.
Starting the engine with a foot starter
Put your foot on the foot starter and press dynamically.
Take your foot off the pedal after starting the engine.
