13.2 Jumpstarting
To jump-start your Morgan Aero connect the positive jump-starting power supply first to the live terminal on the
battery and then the negative terminal of the jump-starting power supply to a good earth on the chassis or
battery.
Notice
Great care must be taken to avoid short-circuits when jump-starting a vehicle.
Not connecting jump-starting cables correctly may result in damage to a vehicle’s electrical system.
Do not attempt to push or tow start the vehicle as this may cause damage to a vehicle’s emissions control
system.
13.3 Inertia switch
The safety inertia switch is designed to operate on impact, typified by car collision, to switch off the fuel pump,
and thus minimize any fire hazard. The inertia switch is mounted on the left hand side of the bulkhead in the
engine bay. Pressing the rubber diaphragm button on the top of the unit resets the switch.
