Brake Warning
(1)
The brake warning symbol indicates either that the handbrake is not been fully
released, or there is a brake system malfunction (for example, low brake fluid
level). If the brake warning symbol remains illuminated, firstly ensure that the
handbrake has been fully released. If it continues to illuminate, the vehicle must
not be driven and should be inspected by a Morgan engineer or service agent.
ESC Warning
(2)
The ESC warning symbol will illuminate briefly when the ignition is turned on
and then disappear. When the ESC activates, the ESC warning symbol will
flash. When the ESC warning symbol illuminates and stays illuminated, there is
a system malfunction. Take your vehicle to be inspected by a Morgan engineer
or an authorised service agent.
ABS Warning
(3)
The ABS warning light will illuminate briefly when the ignition is turned on
and then disappear. The ABS warning light will illuminate and stay illuminated
when there is an issue with the ABS system. In this event, hydraulic braking
will continue to function, however, it will be possible to lock the wheels whilst
braking in poor road conditions. Drive with extreme caution and take your
vehicle to be inspected by a Morgan engineer or an authorised service agent.
Airbag Warning
(4)
The airbag warning light will illuminate briefly when the ignition is turned on and
then disappear. The airbag warning light will illuminate and stay illuminated when
there is an issue with the airbag(s). When this warning light shows, the airbags
are deactivated and they will not deploy. If the warning light shows, pull over and
stop driving as soon as it is safe to do so. The vehicle must not be driven and
should be inspected by a Morgan engineer or service agent.
WARNING Failure to investigate and rectify the cause of these
warning lights could result in serious personal injury or death.
WARNING Work to the brakes, ESC system, ABS system and airbag
system should be only completed by a Morgan engineer or an authorised
Morgan service agent.
